The Vancouver BC Police Department recently launched an ad campaign against sexual assault. The ad campaign targets young men ages 18-25 with the message “if there is no consent, it’s rape.” This message seems pretty obvious to adults, but many young people (guys and girls) are confused by this. They seem to believe there is a gray area if the girl has been partying.
I’ve worked with several girls this year who have been sexually assaulted. All of the girls were attacked by someone they know. Check out these posters, what are your thoughts?
